Are you great enough to make The Sales Dream Team?

I’M LOOKING FOR A FEW GREAT SALESPEOPLE. Are you great? I’m sure you think you are (I hope you think you are). Everyone thinks they are, but few, only a select few will make my Sales Dream Team. If you have always thought you had what it takes, if you have always thought of yourself as the best, if you’ve got a great story to tell, if you have been (and are) a top performer I invite you to try out for The Jeffrey Gitomer Sales Dream Team.

WHY AM I DOING THIS? Because for years I (like you) have been reading the top 25 lists, where they put the company and their CEO, and their CFO, and their phone, and their address, and their annual sales. What I don’t read are the names of the sales PEOPLE that put them on the list. I want to feature THOSE PEOPLE. And I want to do it with HOOPLA! A special series of articles devoted to salespeople who made it happen in a special way.

SALESPEOPLE ARE THE UNSUNG HEROES OF BUSINESS and deserve some public notoriety (singing) for their efforts. If your business is on the top 25 list of something, take away your salespeople and see if you’d still make the list. Without salespeople, nothing happens. I want to recognize the best, and tell their story.

NOTHING TO DO! It’s a contest like no other sales contest ever before. You don’t have to make one new sale to win. You just have to have made sales in the past. Lots of sales. Lots and lots of sales. It’s a sales contest that rewards you for what you have already accomplished. Wow!

GET KNOWN BY THOSE WHO COUNT! How many of you reading this get too much recognition? Well if you make the sales dream team, public recognition will be heaped on you. Stuff that will make your loved ones proud, and your coworkers green with envy. Free national PR.

EVERYTHING TO GAIN! I want to feature the best salespeople in the USA I want to feature you. And, The Sales Dream Team is not without reward. There will be prizes and recognition beyond compare. An award plaque, an autographed book, and MAYBE your photo in the paper that features your story.

Here are the criteria to qualify for the Gitomer Sales Dream Team. You need:

A history of success been at it for a while and have a track record of orders and awards

One memorable sales story the best sale you ever made

One memorable service story the best service you ever performed

A great attitude

A strong selfbelief system

You must still be a student of sales still learning as often as you can.

You must have a major goal that’s not money related

You must be willing to divulge your three secrets to (sales) success.

You must be willing to divulge your secret to handling rejection

You must have two references from customers that say you’re great.

OPEN TO ALL AGES, all genders, all races, all experience levels, all kinds of companies. You just gotta be in sales, love it, and be darn good at it.

THE ENTRY FORM IS A PAIN IN THE BUTT. You’ll have to substantiate your greatness to qualify. You’ll have to get two customers to say you’re great. It will require about 30 minutes of your time to enter. That’s to keep out the weaklings and lazy people. I’m interested in the people who MAKE things happen. Is that you?
